I seen this last night and thought I read that it was only a "trial" edition. I'll have to have another look.

No it's not a trial, it's a limited version though with less cars and tracks but all other features are there. It actually turned into a pretty good arcade racer after a terrible rushed release and around 4 x 10gb updates.
On another look says released 25th June 2015
This might fill a little void until GT7 comes out.
That's pretty much when PS5 is about to be released! :/
I bought this from EB for $14 a few weeks ago, it was a pre-owned copy but brand new (still had the seal on it).
Apparently a lot of people traded this as soon as they bought the Driveclub bundle without playing it.
It's not a bad game, plenty of free downloads on PSN too
