Wondering if anyone has looked into the new AGL solar option - solar smart plan?

I saw it on the news. Sounds a bit too good to be true. You don't have to pay for it

I saw it too, sounded exactly like Origins deal.
Not sure if its worth while, basically you get slightly cheaper electricity in turn for letting them use your roof space for solar panels (they collect the solar energy) and after 15 years (7-10 for Origin) you then need to pay them to remove the panels or you buy them (which after 15 years they probably arent in great condition).
The show I saw said the average family would save UPTO $180 per year - not much of a saving really for signing a 15 year contract (which you then cant go to other suppliers if they offer a good deal for 15 years)
