The chunky pies were $5 at my 7/11. Only the normal ones were $3.
Hmm. It doesn't say anywhere (that I could find) that it was for participating stores only. The only thing is does say is while stocks last. I don't know if they can be selling their chunky pies at $5! Have you asked them why they are not $3 as advertised on the 7-11 website?
I even pointed to the sign, and they tried to explain to me that it's only $5 with a specific drink, even though the sign mentioned nothing about a drink. They were stubborn, so I gave up and left.

Just be careful with the 72g varieties. At the 7-11 I went to, I took 4 different 72g bars to the checkout and 2 bags of Cobs 40g and the total was $8.20. What? 6 ($1.00) items for $8.20? After reviewing the confusing receipt I worked out that one item was at full price. After asking the attendant to check all the prices, it turned out the Rocky Road 72g was not $1.00 :(
