Notification Won't Go Away Even Though It Has Already Been Viewed?

Anyone else having issue with the notification alert (the bell symbol)? Whenever someone replies to my post a red notification appears where the bell is and when I click on it and view the post, the notification would still appear the next time I visit the site. It eventually goes away but can be really annoying. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Hit "Mark as read" on the notification window should fix it.

    I have an issue with a few notifications that will remain after reading them and clicking mark as read in the notification bell.
    It has worked in the past but I cant seem to clear them now.

    I've logged out and back in, refreshed the page, and clicked mark all read under the My Account menu.

    I'm guessing switching it off and back on again will fix it but til then its buggy.
    (edit: That didnt even fix it)
