World of Warcraft 60 Day Prepaid Card 50% off - $18 at Harvey Norman

350

As part of Harvey Norman's 'All I want for Christmas' Catalogue.. World of Warcraft 60 Day Prepaid game cards are listed for $18.

They're usually sold for about $38.. recent deals have seen them reduced to $32 but I think $18 is the lowest I've ever seen.

Cheap WOW Gametime or a good gift for someone you know plays it. Enjoy.

  • Nice bargain for those that use them, never seen them that cheap before.
Wonder if there is a limit.

  • With the majority of WOW players moving over to AION, they'll probably buy this and save it till the next expansion (Cataclysm) comes out.

    • What do you mean moving over. Isn't WoW still immensely popular?

In regards to the deal, is there a limit restriction. Will people be stocking up?

      • From your answer I can tell you don't play WOW.

WOW isn't as popular anymore. Yes they have a hold of a lot of players, but most of them are either not playing or playing something else.

AION is a WOW killer. So Blizzard has to step up their development or else a lot more and more players will leave.

        • I don't play wow, but I chill out on my xbox for fun. It seems fairly addictive (as does this AION game). I'm curious to know whether this AION game is more popular now? I rarely keep up with these trends.

    • Aion is bleeding subscribers; lots of players have moved back to WOW or taken a break from MMO and waiting for Star Trek Online or Star Wars.

  • this is a great find for the Wow fans - well done!

  • Just went to my local one (chaddy)
Their out of stock but were happy to backorder (for sale price) 3 for me

Brothers love this game so good (cheap) xmas present.. thanks for the post!

    • My local was sold out, I'll have to go back and see if they'll order some for me.

And I don't think there was a limit on the amount.

  • does anyone know if these have expiry dates on them?

  • I just got 4, there is no expiry date that I can see, and I bought 4 myself without any questions asked. Fantastic price!!

  • And I thought XBOX LIVE was expensive…why does WoW cost so much?

  • Just bought four after fighting for it a little. Store guy couldn't find it, and flat out denied it being available after mentioning it was on here. The other staff member flat out said don't validate any online deals. A polite RTFS helped him realise his mistake. Great deal had.

  • Tried to buy 18 from my local store. The salesguy knew nothing about it, but when he looked at the catalouge and started putting them through. Then the store manager came out and set a limit of 5, citing "HN only sells retail quantities"

    • -1

Tut tut, trying to sell them on ebay I see.

It's people like you that ruin the deals for the rest of us.

      • Or I am a hopeless addict and it is a big saving for me and my friends over the next year.

        • Indeed, 18 is just the right number for 3 accounts for a year…

  • I checked this out at my local store (penrith nsw) and they were predictably sold out. Sales guy said they probably would have sold out regardless since it is christmas, but with the special as well…

  • Bought 2 at HN QV building in melbourne. 1 left. Scanned at the register for $17 each. evil grin

  • hey guys… just to tell you, went to my local HV (cannington, perth) and they had 3… bought all.. but then they said I could back order it at the price of $18 a piece and I will receive it in the new year at the reduced price. If people want, I can go and get more and email codes to people. I know its risky but anyone interested??

btw… not sure if i can go do it again… i might have just got lucky…

  • just went to HN in melb city, they run out the stock, but got him to back ordered 10 for me, sweet.
by the way, got a WOTLK for $28 for my friend, another thumb up !!!

  • If I understand the fine print in the catalogue correctly, Harvey Norman are obligated to do backorders at the sale price if they don't have stock.

"Raincheck policy: If a relevant category Osborne Park Franchisee has sold out of, or is temporarily out of stock of any item of Offer Goods, during the Offer Period, then that Osborne Park franchisee will offer each person who requests supply of that item during the Offer Period, a raincheck, so that the person may purchase, from that Osborne Park franchisee, either, later a product the same as that item at not greater than the Offer Price, or an alternative product with similar features with equivalent or a higher value, at a price for that item not greater than an amount equivalent to the Offer Price"
