As the title suggests I am looking for a new machine to replace my Asus x202e. Since its EOFY I think its a good time to invest in a new machine. I plan to do light gaming (dota 2) and watching movies (1080 display).I am not fussy about it being a new machine I wouldn't mind a refurbish or an ex-demo as long as it comes it some warranty.
I would like it to be slim and portable (15") and I don't mind hybrids and tablet/PC form factors.

Kogan Atlas X14FHD ? not sure about the build quality but price & spec is pretty respectable especially FHD screen

You can get a Dell Latitude from their Outlet shop which meets those requirements for $819. I'd then upgrade it to 8GB RAM and an SSD when I had a bit more cash.
This is a business class laptop. As such, the priorities are expandability and a good keyboard rather than slimness.
