Funny, I saw one of these near the bins outside my unit today.

Lol we bought one of these for $25 from big w a year ago for my two year old at the time. It's lasted over a year, still going strong and my now three year old still fits in it fine.

I have a similar stroller. Been using it for about 2+ years. A bit dirty now but still working fine. Light, cheap and very very portable. Took it with us to a 5 weeks trip in Asia. Those strollers seen thrown out might be those faulty ones… But hey, nothing can be perfect.. Just have a look at these 4 links :
