Hi, I am thinking of leaving sgio for the woolworths $100 price beat promotion which ends june 30. I spoke with both and woolies will do it after sgio say they can only do a further 2.5% for me ( i already drove them down a lot over the past few years) Does anyone with experience care to comment - any reason to avoid woolies insurance? Cheers

Fun fact with car insurance:
Add an additional driver to your car insurance who has a good driving record and is older than you, and the premium goes down.I signed up with Woolies car insurance because they were about $30 cheaper than my existing renewal.
But, then I used this trick to reduce my current insurance and beat the Woolies price. I couldnt get Woolies to price beat because then my existing insurance had an additional driver which then meant it wasn't a renewal. Cancelled Woolies insurance and stuck with the insurer I had been with for years. Also, from what I researched, the Woolies underwriter didnt seem very well known here. They normally do pet insurance so I thought best to stick with my own.
Budget car insurance is offering $100 eftpos when going through iselect.
Coles are running the same deal.if you do an online quote the price beat guarantee is automatic and if you play your cards right you can get the $100 twice.
