Hi, I’m after a “dumb” (No/Minimal Smart Features) TV for <$1000. Ideally I’d like something between 40”-50”. This TV from Kogan has caught my eye. I’ve read about previous issues with Kogan TV’s, but cannot seem to find many reviews from owners of the current generation/product line.

Does anyone own the 50” or 55” Versions? Or seen any reviews on them?
I’m curious to know:
- Does audio passthrough HDMI ok? (I have an XBMC that I would be streaming my content from).
- How does motionmax affect the “viewing/motion blur” of the display? I’ve read with previous units, it can make the image look fake.
- Whats the sound quality like without external speakers?
- How does the quality of SD content/DVD’s look?
- Any other issues with the TV?
Thanks,
