Genesis Gym Gold Membership - or other equivalent, fitness first, etc

Has anyone here managed to get a good deal on a 'gold membership' at Genesis, or an equivalent at another gym? I love having flexibility with which classes I can attend so having 3+ gyms in the area I can go to helps a lot.
If so, how did you go about it? Any tips?
