Hi all.
I received my registration for Vicroads car renewal and its around 800 - seems to get larger each year.
I'm currently in economic hardship - as in unemployed.
With car insurance I was able to have my payments made in a plan, just wondering if you know if Vicroads have a similar hardship arrangements where they'll still get their money, but in installments or part-payment plans?

The new Andrews government has announced that they will be changing the system so that people such as you in this situation can pay monthly. Unfortunately, it probably won't be in place for a while (well promised before end of 1st term).
@sparkyglo - Unfortunately I'm not eligible for a healthcare card.
@neil - thats good news - but I guess past when needed. Its a bit crazy that vicroads doesn't have flexible payment options, especially seeing how expensive it is. Thanks.
Given you are unemployed at the moment would you be eligible for a health card card? That would enable you to get a discount on your registration, and then you can also apply to pay your registration in 6 month blocks.
