Looks like a good deal. Single socket adaptors retail anywhere from $5-20. These give you 3 different adaptors with 4 USB sockets and 2 AC sockets! Works in over 150 countries.
Super handy
Available from July 1

They may have finally gotten the ok to sell
does it have the aussie tick of approval?
COTD had these in a recent sale for $5, and prior to that for $19.95.
Similar one on eBay (I think this is the COTD one) for $16.99 and you get four adaptors, including the two straight pins for Asia/US
This Bauhn adaptor has 2 AC sockets for Australian plugs, in addition to the four USB sockets. Those COTD and eBay ones don't have any AC sockets.
Only one AC charger on those?
Who exactly is selling this?
Aldi
Gotcha. Wasn't actually listed anywhere that I could see. I must be stupid.
Bauhn is an Aldi home brand, but yes it should be in the title.
Big question is….. What are the USB ports rated at??
Found this in an old OzB post….
"Specifications: This product can charge devices via USB with up to 3.1A in total. When you connect two or more products that require more than 3.1A, the adaptor may cut off the power into the USB ports. If this has happens, unplug one of your devices and the adaptor will continue charging the other connected device(s)."
PDF link to likely specs stating the above http://www.bauhn.com.au/literature_140317/ATAK-014-_Instruction_Manual
link isnt working now?
@GLO:
Doh, underscores converted to italics. Tested link now or just Google "Bauhn Universal Travel Adaptor Kit"

@thewheat: that is what I was looking for.
it doesn't look like it has a USA/Central America plug, is this because of the 120V supply or is it just missing from the photo? has anyone purchased on of these before??
I could be wrong but usually the flat US pins are the one that come with the unit. The others are attached to the folded flat pins.
Based on this PDF (looks to be the correct one) it seems that it has a 3 prong US plug

Thanks guys!
can this fast charge?
Now listed on the website
Picked one up at the Brandon Park Aldi. Not many left so anyone keen to get one should hop to it.
How's the quality looking?
I'd say the build quality is acceptable. It is constructed from fairly cheap looking plastic. However, it feels sturdy enough. Haven't tested how the plugs/USB fits yet, will do so when I get home and provide feedback here.
Just got one of these. The UK plug is missing. check in store first.
Just noticed mine is missing it too.
FYI guys, all kits are missing the UK adaptor, contact the people below and they will post you a UK adaptor.
'Please contact the supplier on 1300 886 649 or via email [email protected] and they will be happy to supply you with the correct product'
Information taken from the Aldi Facebook page.
Well done two.
I just got one from Beaconsfield, got home and plugged it in and sparks came flying out of the USB ports so glad I didn't have anything plugged into it yet. I'm not sure if I should try another one or not.
Are they actually going to sell it this time? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/167819
