Looking to get a Canon G11 digital camera at a great price.
So far a search on Staticice has returned $614 @ www.techrific.com.au
Anyone know of any deals going on at the moment which could get a better deal?
Or would it be better to take off to Asia. If that's the case, which country gives the best deals ATM?

Yeah, go with the G11, it's newer. I think I'll try the FX5 next when it comes out. I would have gone with the FX3 if the G11 wasn't out.
Hmm, I'm not planning a trip to Dubai, and this is going to be an x-mas present, so I think I'll buy online.
Out of those three links, I'm leaning towards citiwide because of better reviews on whirlpool. I won't make the decision until I speak with them and get a guarantee on delivery before x-mas.

I went with DD Electronics https://www.d-d-electronics.com.sg
They have a warehouse in Sydney which I'm more comfortable with. Warranty won't be with Canon, it's back to them but anyway I'm not paying $700.
And to be honest, when I emailed citiwide, they were slow in response, and their email from name appeared as
"info info". At least I could call DD Electronics - and on a weekend.

All under $560 mate. I'm looking for one too, but I think ill just pick one up in Dubai when i go at the end of the year. Do you know why this is better than the G10?
Depending on price i may get a g10…. Not sure im waiting for post-Christmas sales in Dubai, everything is cheaper there anyway.
