It's kind of strange when one can get a FHD 60" LCD TV for under 1k while screen larger than 70" cost 3 three times as much.
I'm after a FHD "dumb" LCD TV 65" and or larger for under 2K, I can stretch a little hopefully 75" screen with 4 hdmi input
This TV from vizio looks fantastic but I doubt it will work with 240v over here:

I just ordered the Kogan 65" LED TV on the weekend. It's a "dumb" tv but only has 3 HDMI inputs. As long as it doesn't have any huge image quality issues, I'll be pretty happy with a $1000 65" screen

Last Week, and possibly still, Costco had a TCL 65" LED 3D 4K Smart TV at $1599.00. Awesome!
And Aldi has a BAUHN 58"/145CM FULL HD LED TV at $777 starting Saturday.
I have had two Bauhns 42" and 47" from Aldi, and both have been and still are suitable for purpose and reliable.
Only bought the 65" because I couldn't resist it's features at the price. Anyone want a cheap Bauhn? Only Kidding!
I was hoping to get the sharp 70" tv but apparently Sharp exited Australian market. Can't find any sharp tv at any retailers
