    To store rep - normally i buy my knitwear from kmart or big w for ~$20. How is hallensteins knitwear are different to big w and kmart one? Only thing i noticed is kmart or big w knit wears get small tiny bally kind of thing after using it few times.

          Hi cniminc, i would recommend hand washing in cold or warm water using a good wool washing liquid by sokaing for 3 - 5 min and then rinse and dry to keep your Merino from pilling and staying primo

          My Merino cardi is still holding up after 1 year of wear. Just make sure they are hand washed and it will last a long time :)

          @cniminc: they most definitely do pill. For the price you are not getting great quality. They are good value and fit well, but yes they will pill after a few wears.

    Received my 2 Merino jumpers today both size M but unfortunately the black was slightly larger than that of the grey :(.
    Grey fits perfect though.

        Hi Daveoi,

        In one of your earlier post you mentioned about replacement if the size did not work out, I'd to take up your offer if you don't mind.
        Can you please advise what I need to do in order to have a replacement sent out.

        I might also add the jumpers I received the Black merino the wool seems to be a bit more stretchier than that of the grey, it turn is slightly bigger than the grey. I'd like another Size M sent out and of course I'll send back the size M I have now.

      I hope they don't make you pay for the return. The fact that one of the size mediums is different for the other should cover you under Australian or New Zealand consumer law. https://www.consumer.org.nz/articles/returns-and-refunds

    The prices are good, but the sizes are really disappointing. I just ordered two things in the sizes I normally purchase in, however they are both too big for me. I can't say the cut is that appealing either. And now I have to pay international shipping to return/exchange.

    I can understand why people stay away from online retailers for this reason. The hassle of returns is just too much.

    I should add however that the postage was very prompt, excellent!

      I wouldn't say they run big at all. I would say slightly small if anything. They are a slim cut though.

        Maybe I just got unlucky. I usually run small to medium, and I got a small jacket and it's a little boxy around the chest. May be personal preference though. Will have to compare return shipping to having it tailored to figure out how to find a better fit.

    This thread has turned a little too negstive IMO. People need to remember purchasing clothing online is and will always be a risk.

    Also, this 'the sizing was really disappointing' etc is a bit harsh without a link to an image substantiating the claims. My knitwear was excellent quality and both (bought 2) sized basically the same.

    Please consider your comments (especially since the company has been a solid and trusted contributor to ozb for the past 2 years at least) as these offers might dry up as reps will see no benefit from offering these deals.

    Im sure there are many happy customers with this deal.

    have already sent an email to Hallensteins but still waiting for a reply. DHL tracking says the jumpers were delivered(signed for by driver?) but there is no package to be seen at all
