Automatic Coffee Machine Recommendations for Home

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to buy a new automatic coffee machine for home. I am looking to spend no more than around the $1500 mark. I have previously owned a DeLonghi and a Saeco and they have been ok. I currently have a Nespresso pod machine at work and they are convenient but its by no means a real coffee machine.

The coffee machine would probably make around 10-20 cups of coffee a day in my family. What are people's recommendations? I have heard lots of good things about Jura and Gaggia, has anyone experienced any of these?

    We've had a Jura for a couple of years. No problems. To get strong coffee we do multiple espressos, but this is the same for many machines.

    With a Jura you'll have to have company services (after so many cups) but once again, the service is very good.

    You can try looking at Amazon reviews as your first point of contact…I think you will get a good sense of the quality of the machine you need there…

    It might be a good idea to look into one of those BluePod machine deals if you're going to use it that heavily?
