Im thinking of getting this from Kogan. Is this a decent buy or is there better alternates at the $300 price range? I wouldn't mind a chinese branded phone as long as the quality and reliability is good.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I have read some reviews and it seems like decent value.

It's not as good compared to other $300 phones you can buy, but on paper it looks decent.
Not sure about the optimisation though. Optimisation and software support can really make or break the user experience. Specs only tell half the story so you'll need to wait for a proper review to come out.
For about $60 dollars extra you can buy a pretty high end ASUS Zenfone 2 with twice the internal storage and RAM… and also scoring $50 eBay voucher in the process. If you don't mind a 5.5" display over a 5.2" one the ASUS + eBay deal represents far better value.
