My work (not-for-profit overseas aid agency)has finally decided to buy us usb sticks to use for when we monitor projects (instead of us using our own).
I would imagine we would need ten or so, prob 2gb would be ok. Also no caps (swivel or clicking ones) as i always lose them :)Write speeds etc. not so important as we would mostly be doing documents and only occasionally photos and short vids.
Appreciate any heads up on any good deals :)
After having a cheap flash drive fail on me, I advise getting brand name (sandisk, lexar, kingston, etc) drives rather than generic.
Harvey Norman and Officeworks normally have 2GB or 4GB flash drives on sale at the checkout.
Apparently you can get the 2GB Sandisk Cruzer for $10.48 pickup at a computer shop in Sydney, so maybe take this page into Officeworks and ask for their 5% price-beat:

I'm pretty sure the Sandisk Cruzer models don't use caps as can be seen here:

call up 9289 and ask for a deal. I went to their birthday event and bought 8gb usb kingston (slide out "flick" knife style = no cap) for $15.48 from memory. Might be able to get a deal on 10 of them?
