Correct the Smith's is June dated, generally everything else is beyond that (and, to allow customers to make an informed decision, is ALWAYS clearly labeled). Short dated stock is part of the reason we can sell stock cheaper than anyone else.
Luckily everything is so delicious it probably wont make it to the end of the week, let alone its best before date!

Okay thanks, so not for everyone. Its hard because if you need to buy several boxes you need to consume them all before the expiry date (as you say, short date)

Or you can shop at Aldi. Their Goldenvale Wheat Biscuits 1.12kg are about $3.19 from memory, taste the same.
Most products are short-dated (ie end of June if you're lucky (and some already past best-before)
Really, $2 for short-dated Smiths that every 2nd week go on special at ColesWorth for $2…?!
