It's like clickbaiting, but dick smith style,
Ordered a laptop sleeve online, on special, click and collect from the Sydney store (George st).
After almost a week with no status update I visited the store yesterday, they looked up the product in the system, it's end of line… But "our head office has 120 of them, we will call this afternoon with the ETA."
No call. So, I speak to customer service. They ring the store. The store rings me: "product is end of line, won't have it anymore but we will do you a good deal on a similar laptop sleeve". Dickbaiting. Their cheapest one in the store was $25 more than the product I had in order.
I hate to ask as I am fairly sure of the answer… Is this a standard practice for coc… uh dick smith?
Yea.. that's usually a different meaning.
