          They're currently seeking interim approval (it's a revenue-share agreement with Qantas), should be on sale after it's granted.

    Great prices for Qantas on this route - Id much rather a QF A380 than an NZ 777.

        As a general rule, avoid all 777s that are in the 3-4-3 layout. Far too narrow for long haul flights.

          in the future I will, but when it was ~$800 return to LA it was probably worth it (plus Disneyland made all those squashed flight memories disappear ;) )

          I am 6' 6", weight in at 100kg and find the 777s 3-4-3 configuration just fine.

          @Drew22: I'm not that big, but many of us "just get on with it". Backpacking keeps me humble, particular when prices are SHARP.

      It is about $1430. However, there are so many VirginAustralia opeions, that it means you cannot see the Qantas flights. Looks like we have an issue to fix!
