NBN Coming to My Area, Please Advise What to Do

Hi,

I just got a phone call from TPG. They have advised that NBN is available at my house and I need to switch to a NBN plan as ADSL will not be available for much longer.

I managed to brush them off and say I will think about it.

Does anyone know what my options are? If I don't sign up for a 18 month plan, I have to pay $99.95+$69.99 for first month+$10 modem delivery, on 18 month plan the $99.95 setup fee is waived, but I still need to pay first month + $10 delivery.

Is there a cheaper/better NBN provider with a shorter contract?
