So you finished your sentence three hours later?

With $70, you can get 23 of this, but it's not your money~ so why don't YOU get this $3 bag and comment on the quality?

  • its the same price in NSW, just bought one from burwood store, Sydney.
all the bags discounted, the prices from $9 and above. only this design for $3.

    • was there any stock left of this bag at Burwood.

      • No took the last one, sorry :)

  • What size are these thanks. Are they for kids only?
    Confused from Carindale.

    • looking at the photo and comparing the bag to the receipt it looks smallish, however will fit a pencil case no worries!

      • +2

What, I have to pay extra for the pencil case upgrade?

I've never used a receipt to measure anything before. They don't come in standard lengths ;-)

But receipts are a standard width! (8cm)

I make it 7 widths high by 5 wide in the photo, when flat.

That is around 56 x 40 cm (when flat), which is bigger than I use now :-)

Same price at Target Cockburn Gateway, WA. It's quite big and I think suitable for adults.

  • OP, were there any left at Carindale when you left. Seems worth a look. Thanks.

    • +1

Yes, hanging on the lowest rung there were about 3 left?

      • Thanks.

      • Must have restocked last night. At least 6 on rack by layby, less the 1 I bought at $5.

  • Nice I would def buy it if i found it. does any one know if it is still in stock at macarthur one?

Cheap bags like this are perfect for making homeless person care packages!

  • This is one fugly bag, looks like some postmans bag.

    • Not bad in reality, especially at the price.

But wish it had proper straps rather than pretty useless buckles just 'for show'.

Those straps could be easily removed & replaced by more practical Velcro fastener hidden under flaps. That's what I'll do when straps fail.

I've modified many backpacks & travel overseas for months with just a pack about this size with a 20L dry sack slung off it (in warm areas). Great for cheap carry-on travel. I usually take the free ones I have. This one is not built well enough for that task.

Now I'm off to deliver some mail.

    Price rise to $5!

    Was reduced in weekend sale.
Paying 67% more really hurts ;-)
If the deal was $5 & bought at $3 I'd be so happy - human nature.
Either way, it's only $2. (Yes, committed OzBargain heresy again!)

As for the bag, those buckles are for 'decorative effect'.
Bag is held closed by magnets. (I had considered glueing the magnet closed & using the buckle, but guess the strap will fail at the buckle after a short while.) Apart from collecting small metal objects, I doubt their ability to securely keep a tablet or even lighter objects from falling out. But has drawstring under top flap.

The canvas look polyester material is what gives it strength. It has some padding in the back, so bulky objects shouldn't dig into your back. It is lined. Straps have some padding & adjust for length. Strap attachment is reinforced well at top.

These cheap bags tend to fail at stitching or closures (especially zippers, but straps/ buckles/ magnets here look like weak points). My similar bags have failed from overloading (too much weight or size).

Its a 675g basic bag (1 external pocket & 1 internal divider). Certainly I have a few free promotional bags with more features & better build - just could do with a change.

So that's all from the 'testing lab'.
Should find a use at the price.

    • Hahaha thanks for the update

      • I will check out the CBD store today

  • Can confirm this deal!

Just bought this bag for $5 from Target Blacktown Westpoint. From the looks of it, they had 5 left on the shelves. I did a price check on the others with the same brand but they were marked down to just $15.

I'm happy with my new bag :)

  • Now $5. Pass.

  • Point Cook and Hoppers Crossing don't have it in stock.
