it's likely to be a RTC batch, sometimes when you need to clear a lot of stock or it all has the U/B date, it's easier to change the price for the day.
I thought you meant they sell the skin of Atalantic Salmon for $15/kg
I speak to fish mongers at the QVM. Wholesale salmon in bulk is around $13. With head and all.
This price is insanely cheap for all meat.
May be Woolworth's guys are fishing around West Beach :) :) :).

It's a chunk of the flesh from the middle of the fish I think, not the fillet with the skin. The skin is the delicious part IMO.
De-skinned and boned will cost you a +$12.88 price premium
Just be aware that "Atlantic salmon" is code for farmed salmon.
And "Barramundi" from Vietnam is code for catfish
that is the basa freshwater fillets…
The flathead isn't the Aussie fish either. Completely different species.
