Places to Sell Musical Equipment (Production)

Hey guys,

So i know there are various selling or even trade-in places for electronic devices such as mobile phones or even laptops.

I am looking to sell off some of my music production equipment - Midi Keyboards (Akai MPK49, Akai MPK61 specifically).
There are options such as public listing sites: Gumtree, Ebay to name a few

However, just wanted to know if there are any companies at all that would consider for such items?

Having the hardest time finding a viable solution so i hope this forum will help out fellow ozbargainers who also have an interest in music production equipment.

    Gumtree and eBay aren't exactly trade-in options.

    If you want to get new equipment cheaper by trading-in your older stuff, try your local 'proper' music store. Eg, Turramurra Music

    Or are you after cash for your old equipment?

      Well technically you can trade-in your instruments for cash on Gumtree/eBay ;)

      I think it's a better bet to do that rather than take it to a music store, not that I have anything against music stores, but they have to buy it to you for a price that they can resell it for so you'll always be better the lower end of the stick. If they have something you want, just but it with cash. If you're an ABN holding musician at least you can claim it on tax.
