Any one encounter problems with Dell Delivery?

Hi all,

I made an order with Dell on Monday Morning, received confirmation emails right afterwards and then invoice. The estimated delivery date is today (12/06) but received no shipping details (tracking no, carrier) by now, contacted the sales agent and he said nothing was wrong, just wait till 12/06.

It's 12/06 today and heard anything from Dell, called the customer service team twice. Both were really nice and helpful, but the 1st said something was wrong with my order (not gone through but has already been charged and received invoice?). The second said she needed to contact with the internal logistic team but order was fine, but I have to wait till next monday/tuesday. What's funny was that the live chat agent told me the item was delivered …

Totally clueless here…

Any one encountered similar issues? Would it be wise to cancel the order and wait for the refund instead?

    local stock takes few days, but overseas stock took weeks.

    I spent ~10 years buying hundreds of PC's from Dell. Only once has a delivery been stuffed up, and they fixed it.. But it took about 2 weeks longer than normal. I think you just got unlucky.

    Live chat is normally useless though.
