Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac is hosting a free trial for the game to help give those on the fence a taste before taking their money. Any Xbox One Gold subscriber can download Sunset Overdrive for free, starting now and through June 15. The trial gives you access to 3 hours of game-time.

Insomniac recommends downloading the game in full before starting to play. The timer runs from the moment you launch the game keeps going even when it’s running in the background, so make sure it’s closed when you’re not playing.

Additionally, the full game, season pass, and digital deluxe edition will all be 33% off for Gold Members during this period as well.

    There's no set rule, it's up to the publisher whether or not you get them for trials. So, until someone here tests this you won't have a definite answer.

  Game is $34 at JB. Not sure when that starts. Well worth it. Amazing game!
