Cheapest way to transfer money from Malaysia to Citibank AU acc?

Hi all,

In need of some emergency fund to inject capital into a business venture. Any idea what's the quickest and easiest way for someone in Malaysia to send money to a Citibank AU acc? I'm talking amount of about 50k AUD. Thanks!

      Thanks..thought about this as well…thing is the fund stay in Maybank, so not sure how easy it is to transfer to Citibank, then to here…

      I know the Msian gov crack down a bit on international money transfer

        Bank draft? Express post? You'd probably still have to sign declarations for such a large amount…

          bank draft and express too expensive…and takes time…need them in a week time preferably..

          @amelyn: I was told that bank TT probably the most expensive way..maybe I'll use the Citibank way..

          @Droid11: TT charges are not significant - probably only RM30 or so - your largest concern should be what exchange rate the bank will give you - for amounts of 50k AUD, the bank will probably be willing to give you better than the stated rate. Will have your money here in a couple of days as well.
