Choosing a 365 Day Prepaid Sim

Gday Comrades,

I have a new phone, well, it's actually an old telstra Galaxy S3 4G (single sim) but it's new to me :)

I'd like a hand with choosing the most suitable reseller for a sim that will meet these params:

365 day expiry
no data use
minimal calls and sms but may as well make them damned cheap
mainly city/suburban use

The aldi sim seems good but you ppls would know better.

Cheers, ciao,

poly

ewww voda. Sorry, shoulda mentioned I've been there and would prefer not to do so again. Coverage was sucky (Syd).

I don't know which of the telstra/optus/resellers to go for specifically.. shoulda mentioned that part. :O)

I should also mention the phone is not locked.

  • I vote Aldi. From what I checked, it's the cheapest one for that criteria. My parents use that as they are here for 3 months and then off somewhere else and comes back again who knows when. And if they don't come back when it expires, i can recharge just to extend the expiry date.

  • Easily Aldi
Uses Telstra network so more reliability with signal , I live within eyesight of a tower with optus on it but get poor to no reception, yet great reception from Aldi/telstra

  • The good thing about the Vodaphone 365 one is that if you still have some credit left on day 364, adding a small amount of credit causes it all to 'roll-over' for another year. And VP coverage is way batter than it used to be; generally quite acceptable, except in remote areas, in my experience.
