Looking to Buy Land in The West (Melbourne)

Hi All,

I am looking to buy a land in the west - approx size 400-450 Sq m. Pricing $200,000- $220,000 approx.
I don't live close by so don't know much about the area. I have been to various estates and got the info.
(college Green, Little Green, Rothwell, Bethany park, Westbrook, Heartlands, The Gateway, Allura, Bellevue, Habitat, Riverdale, Etc)
I need your help to select one. So if you can please share your knowledge and/or any comments on which estate would I go with and why that will be appreciated?

  • Westbrook as it is near to the newly opened Traneit station.

  • Best value for money land in the west is to be found in Bacchus Marsh.Lots of blocks from $100K to $140K. Or nice big blocks (up to an acre) for around $200K! Before you say it is too far west, consider that it sits on the Western Freeway and also has a train connection. Good selection of schools, a hospital,an efficient local bus service, good supermarket competition including Aldi, etc. In Tarneit, the land is very expensive, there's little infrastructure and the road congestion is an absolute nightmare!!
