Can We Create Our Own Group Buy for The PlayStation DualShock 4?

Hi All,
As we all know that gaming accessories are hardly on "sale" or excluded from discount codes.
I'm wondering, we as a group can initiate a group buy deal for the PS4 Playstation 4 Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller.

Therefore if there is a huge demand, hopefully ebay, Dick Smith, EB games, etc.. would do a deal.
Other suggestions are welcomed.

      Does it connect automatically, as in plug and play? I know the ps3 controllers have issues where you need extra software

        It's plug and play and will connect automatically; some games won't pick up the controller automatically and you may need to download InputMapper.

    I am interested in this concept, not only for the dual shock but for further deals….its time to use the ozbargain power to change deals from passive to active :D

    how much cheaper do you think it will drop by though, I am betting all that effort for $5 off, thinking it wouldnt be much cheaper.

      I don't know but I can't understand why we should pay 22% for a wireless controller based on $88 controller @ JB vs $398 Kogan Deal.

The profit margins are tiny (think Apple product) and it's a longcycle product, but nobody is more efficient than us, or will do better in Australia for buyers. So get clicking, and let us do our job :)

          Yes, Prav is right :) it can be done. And we're with you in getting things like this off the ground. Not saying it will be easy, there will have to be some integration on our site for this, but why see how well this can be done?

      One suggestion would be creating your own forum post asking what are ozbargainers looking for from your available stock (of course making it a bargain) or as mentioned create a social media for the ones interested… I think it will all come down by organising the waves of the ozbargain community looking for an active deal to become true (the community has the numbers on its favour) instead of just waiting and hoping for best :D …

        Yes. Hope is not a method! We'd be relying on you to organise some kind of poll. You'd supply the demand, and we'd supply…well…the supply. If the market agreed to the price, it would go ahead, if not, it wouldn't. That's an early conceptualisation.

    This turn of the events reminds me of Massdrop. Isn't this sort of like Massdrop? Of course, this would not have the long waiting time like the Massdrop (hopefully at least).
