Hey all,
I want to buy a cheap Surface, have been looking around at places but - is there anywhere that people know of where I can buy refurbished older model Surfaces for cheap? I've seen A4C, but I'm a bit hesitant to pull the trigger with all/most of their reviews being 1 or 5 star.
Any recommendations for somewhere I can go?

I wonder if refurbished Surface Pro's will have their batteries replaced in the refurbishing process, like Apple does with their refurbed Macs.
I am not sure about those ones, but when I got mine serviced (they give out refurbished units as far as I know), the battery life on it was very good. I think they replace the battery, or I was lucky enough to get one that had really good battery in it.
What do you call cheap?

Amazon + Ship forwarding? I haven't seen any refurbished units being sold in Australia. It'd be better if you can find one in Australia. Otherwise, Microsoft Store in America sells refurbished units. I'd talk to MS about the global warranty, not sure how it goes if it is a refurbished unit. You'd need to get it shipped though.
That being said, I am not sure how the whole experience would go. I know that Amazon and MS sells refurbished SP 1/2, but never thought about getting it shipped to Australia.
