Supercheap online member club sale on some tools.

Been looking for a cheap 18v grinder to cut bike chains and stuff :p and diybwork as well…
the 2 tiny batteries wont last long (maybe 30mins?) but at least they are li-ion and wont go dead after months of no use.

drill is nice to hack up and use as electric skateboard or something.

    can you give review of the grinder mate?
    how long it lasts? does it stall when cutting thick metal?
    How to prolong its use.. as in, use short bursts or its good enough to last 30mins continuously?
    how heavy is the grinder?
    is it a slow 5hr charger?

      I have only really used the grinder for about 5mins and it doesn't die down unless you push real hard (I was cutting 2.0mm stainless steel). I would say 15-20mins tops, depends on what sort of metal you're cutting I'd say. grinder feels about same as 2L of milk (weight lol)

        15mins per battery is not so bad… i knew itd be heavy but no deal breaker, will be getting one tomorrow.

  You see the last time I bought an angle grinder I used it twice in 5 years and ended up giving it to my uncle.
  I am definitely interested in an electric screwdriver for my dad.

    im doing renos now so will surely use it where power cables are a hassle. plus ill use it as a sander, cutter, and odd jobs where sharp metal edges need quick smoothing out ;)
