Samsung S27D590P ($395) VS AOC I2777fq ($379) ? Which Is Better?

I'm looking for a 27" monitor, not for gaming

I got the AOC i2757FH which is similar to the above one but slightly different design. One thing to note is that do not take the speakers into consideration when comparing both because the sound quality is bad. So treat it as a speakerless monitor. Other than that, both are actually equally good but obviously IPS panels often attract a premium for its better color reproduction and good viewing angles so the AOC is good value.

Lastly, AOCs comes with 3 year warranty whereas Sammy monitors are 1 year.

  Actually you dont need to look any further. When I bought my monitor with a similar budget, I also short listed the above Samsung and my AOC…Other than performance of the monitor (IPS and 5ms GTG is important for me as I use it for gaming), I shortlisted these because of the modern look and trust me, everyone has been giving me the thumbs up when they see my AOC monitor. You can definitely find another 27 inch around $300 mark but it will be one of those ugly cheap looking black plastic Asus, Acer or Philips. Narrow bezel monitors look so damn bloody sexy…I'll choose either one…
