  The $49 figure is rubbish. $15 at MSY, everyday price. Similar prices elsewhere:

  $9 at PLE computers, but limited stock, only in stock at Heatherton (Vic).

  I'll grant you that it is a good price for a major retailer, and that's why I'll give this deal a plus. But putting "was $49" in the title is misleading, if Good Guys sold it for $49, they wouldn't have sold any. I wonder how long it was at $49 for?

    Dunno m8, all I know is if you google cache it, it shows $49 on 23rd May this yr :)

      I'm less trusting of retailers. I've seen so many occasions when retailers increased the price for a day or a week, only so they could put an artificial "reduced from" price. I suspect this is a similar case. Or maybe it's a new line for Good Guys, and they initially tried selling it at RRP before realising they will hardly sell any at that price?

        Yeah you have to be pretty smart these days to know what's a deal and what's not, I have never seen it before on their site but who knows man
