Woolworths has dropped the price of Greenseas 95 gram cans of tuna from $1.99 to $1 permanently as of yesterday.
Lower price everyday as per the woolworths catalogue this week.
I know it's 50% off every few weeks but this just makes it easier now.
I personally eat too many cans of tuna a week and greenseas is one of the most tasty brands.
Greenseas is no Sirena!
Sirena used to be good pre 90s before it became product of thailand. Now I only buy Callipo.
You might want to take out 'Permanently' from the title. Nothing is ever permanent (with Coles/Woolies).
It should say 'Everyday low price'.

Yes, i remember Woolies had 1.25L coke at a 'everyday low price' of $1.25 in 2003. Now you can't even get that price on special!

One thing I've noticed is that the Tuna Chunks in Springwater can has 9% more tuna than the Sweet Chilli flavour. Pays to read the ingredients list before buying to ensure you get more tuna for your buck.
But in springwater it has no taste…
Its the same for the olive oil flavours, that is the best choice.
Awesomeeee. Greenseas is by far my favourite tuna.
I dont find Greenseas great. Have a look at the fish content (%) no wonder it is cheap. Safcol is good but of course a bit more expensive.
I bought 5 today for work lunches.
Only saw 4 of the flavours with Everyday Low Price reduced to $1. All the others were still $2.
Looks like they are all reduced online - but the tag line under product is FAIL.

I think it's equally as good, I eat the tune with lemon and pepper everyday
UPDATE: The "permanent" price has been reversed back to $1.99. Short lived permanent.
