Great gold jewelry prices in Kuwait. If you have the need to buy a big ticket item these flights could pay for them selves and you get to dodge the winter for a bit.

Also worth noting it's an alcohol free country, I found that out on the way back from the UK once.

      • Surely you can still buy a drink in the big international hotels.

        • +1

No but they did sell Budweiser 0% alcohol.

        • I'm pretty sure these countries have 'western' sides to them that you can visit and get upto your normal shenanigans.

        • @gooddealmate: beavis and butthead got drunk on non alcoholic beer

        • +1

          @gooddealmate: the horror

        • @unclesnake: if there is a will there is a way

        • @Jack42: i might actually be able to get a full six pack in me before falling asleep, no i think ill pass on kuwait.

        • @eXtremist: only Dubai has a western side. Most Middle East countries have only one set of laws which prohibit alcohol. We can't use western culture to view other cultures.

and you get to dodge the winter for a bit

      In a lovely 45 °C arid climate.

      • But it's a dry heat :-)

Great option for middle eastern freedom fighters looking to rekindle with their deceased relatives from multitudes of western civilization's war mongering.

    • +9

You would be partly responsible for that surely 'President Clinton'?

    • -7

Hahaha… hilarious!! Because there is such a rich history of peace in the middle east otherwise!! I must buy a flight over their and tell the factions / denominations the past thousand plus years were just a dream… wonder if i'll get a discount for sending just my head back??

    Kuwait… a bargain.

    • +14

      Thats what Saddam said once

      • +2

but ended up paying an arm and a leg… with interest.

        • +1

But in the end, just a neck.

Only if you buy in bulk. and it's more of a trust me, they'll be waiting for you.

  • How is this airline? Looking at travelling in a couple of months and wondering how this airline this as I've never heard of them before OzB.

    • +1

Have had family members report nothing but positive things. Apparently they play trivia games with the plane etc.

      • +1

They sure do… locals kill it with quick answers usually. I quite liked the airline, new planes, may a few extra bucks and guarantee yourself a seat at the back with a little extra leg room. Oh, and dress warm, they keep the cabins cool and no individual air nozzles.

Philippines: famous for spending as much as possible on the newest and most highly appointed of everything, including aircraft. Amongst the best engineering standards in the world. Or at least the third world. Their used aircraft from other airlines most likely work, most of the time. And the stopover not only has beautiful beaches within a few Kms (only 11 hours away in normal traffic) but amongst the best typhoons in the world, free of charge. Now that's a bargain!

    Is life insurance covered?

    • -1

You have to pay extra to be covered under the allah akbar clause.

Cebu airline …any food offered onboard I can't bear this long journey without onboard meals ..

    • You can pre-order or buy onboard but it's not included in ticket price.

    • +2

Do you need help taking a dump too? Just take some food with you!

  • does this mean the flights are via Philippines?

    edit: yes it does

  • +1

    Plenty of the dates available

    What a surprise.

  • +2

this SYD to Kuwait cheaper than my SYD to Melb for next weekend lol

  • Be warned:
I booked, the PDF I received with my tickets was corrupted and the wrong dates were sent - 5 weeks with a whole bunch of emails and calls and still nothing. They even blocked my number from calling, I had to put it on private to get through.

Absolutely terrible service if you have any issues.

    • +3

Is their call centre out-sourced to Australia?

        Uganda

Anyone booked and not ended up embroiled in a SCAM?

Why would anyone want to travel to Kuwait unless u are from there?

      • @gooddealmate Hahahhhah, nearly snorted my coffee!

  • are these gone?

  • +2

    Or $200 ONE-WAY.

IS are bargain hunters as well…

  • Or $200 ONE-WAY

booking a one way flight to Kuwait seems like a quick way to have your citizen ship revoked… all jokes aside i wouldn't mind a cheap flight to the Philippines for my 30th at the end of the year

  • no flight to kuwait is complete without some background info https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bjMtKG7DX0

sweet something to do for the arvo

    • That water park looks sooooo good.
They better let females use it. I'm not sitting around in a sack.

  • +2

no flight to kuwait is complete without some background info

I can tell you that their is mostly sand in the background ;)

  • As discussed in previous Kuwait deals via Cebu Pacific, it's not the cheapest stopover (if used for that purpose to get to Europe). Beyond the visa fee, prices for hotels in Kuwait are high (and AirBnb isn't much of a thing - beyond expensive stays, one guy was offering shared accomodation for $27 when I checked). There was an HI hostel that operated kind of under the radar but it's hard to confirm if it's still operating (it doesn't list on their official website).

  • Just got back from there, Both flights delayed one 3hrs , the other 4 hrs, 3 of them stuck on the plane because of the roadworks on the runway.if they where on time it would only have been 1hr delay. Yes Manila airport reallly sucks, cebupacific flights are always overcrowded has super hard seats, no toilet paper 4 times now and totally 3rd class.
they can have their onboard games for a free toilet case too.
