Electric Blankets Sunbeam - Single $19, Double $39 (Ex-Disp) Free Delivery @ JB Hi-Fi Factory Scoop

71

It's getting pretty cold down here in the southern states and we aren't even in Winter yet. A lot can suck more than crawling into a cold bed and trying to get comfortable, but it's still full of suck.

For those who don't currently have a portable bed warming solution like a significant other, or a cat, or your current solution is unreliable this deal seems pretty good.

Also available Kambook single bed one for $25.

  • Looks like only the single left and the $25 Kambrook one.

  • It says double/queen but there is no way those dimensions could fit a queen ?

Queens, like everyone else comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

Great prices. Too bad Sunbeam are notorious for their electric blankets causing fires. Easily the worst brand you could choose.

    • +2

they say these aren't safe for kids, but I reckon they work really well, and as an added bonus the kids get a "shocking" reminder if they wet the bed!

  • Ex-Display sounds better than Shop Soiled

What?! They deliberately poop on them?!

I stayed away from Sunbeam after 4 sets of my expensive Sunbeam electric died one after another in 24m of light use. It was due to the controller and is well known by Sunbeam. Despite this they refused to admit to the issue and the replacement is costly. I will neg this post not because of the poster but rather to make aware to other of what they get themselves into.

I suspect there is a self destruct timer in each electric blanket.

    • +1 for the dodgy Sunbeam Controller, even on the fitted unit >$150.

The cheapo Aldi one has outlasted my last Sunbeam

It is reasonable that an electric blanket be expected to last more than 2 years.
