*I read somewhere that all iPhones with telstra are unlocked. But couldn't confirm.

If it's pre-paid then it's locked.
All iPhone 5 models and other iPad models are already unlocked.
So this model is locked. From their unlocking website.
Can unlock for about $20 through ebay. PM me if you want the name of the ebay seller I used last year.
iOS 9 will bring this back to life :)
I don't think anything can. I have this phone for work and it is slow.
If you didnt upgrade the iOS it was fine. But i guess thats the mistake you, along with many others made. (myself included)
if Apple ever allow it to upgrade..

Yeah that not bad for 32gb model, better than an old 8gb 4s that doesn't even run the latest iOS version any good.
By tech standards it's ancient. Why it's still even this price I don't even.
I am racking my brain to try and be diplomatic and think of a single good reason to buy this phone at this price…
Lost my 16gb 4s today.. lucky most photos saved but still a bummer. Was trying to make myself feel better and see how much its worth today.. mine had a cracked screen.. yay..:D What really sucks is the shame.. cos I -never- lose thing's.. just an exceptionally stress filled day.
