Different model. 11.6" is very small & portable.
Ur link is to a different product
The op posted a 11.6" 1.4 kg so called ultrabookNot an apples to apples comparison though. You generally have to pay more for portability + performance in the same package. This is why a small laptop packing the same specs always costs more than a similarly specced but larger one.
Ridiculous argument. You can't compare a 2.19kg 15.6" laptop with a 1.45kg 11.6" ultrabook. Different product, different users, different needs.
If you're going to be condescending you should at least be right.
@johnn: Implying there's an absolute right, as opposed to your version of right?
@scrimshaw: Yeah the differences are huge.

Warranty one yearIntel Core i3-4010U <—- what's the difference between U and Y?
V, W, and X
U is for Ultraportable. They use 17 Watts or more.
Y is for extremely low Thermal Design Power being made from a U but then reducing the frequency and voltage. They use 13 Watts or less.
M is the remaining category. M is for mobile, being less compact and using more power than U. M can be a desktop alternative but drains the battery faster.
This seems expensive.
This Dell Inspiron 11 3000 is even more expensive, though arguably its a lot nicer as it has touchscreen and has a convertible mode (360 degree hinge). You can however get it refurbished for $500+.
Cool.
Actually a few at $499. I went the celeron version for $329!
Yes it's a decent value, but the comparison prices are scant due to it being a discontinued product. For example, http://betterit.com.au/scripts/prodview.asp?idproduct=114251… listed the price as $557 but no longer available.
Better to buy HP stream 11 from Harvey Norman with 25 dollar voucher. This is better buy if you want to do lot of multitasking or need higher processing power.
I'm thinking not good value
