RM Williams Boots for $200- $300

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to get a good pair of RM Williams Boots at around $200-$300. Preferably not second hand.

The last time I managed to get such a pair was the sale at David Jones. Really regretted getting only one pair, as I didn't know how good the boot brand and quality was at the time.

Now David Jones only stocks the one style of boot, and the outlet store at homebush (NSW) also closed down. Not sure if the main RM Williams store chain even have sales on their boots, so waiting for the end of the financial year to come by might be pointless. Nungar trading co and the online store seems to be the cheapest option available for now.

As such, does anyone know where or what time of the year would be ideal to get RM Williams for a low price?
I wouldn't mind ordering online, and also won't mind driving and picking them up myself if there's a store in NSW.

Update: Couldn't get a pair from Ray's outdoors. No stock in the entirety of NSW apparently. Kind of getting worried about the dwindling number of RM Williams products across Australia.

      yeah, just saw that. Problem will be finding a pair, and seeing if they fit.

    Would you buy new-in-box from eBay or Gumtree?

      Sure. It depends on the sizing though. I'm a size 9 (UK sizing), but from what I've seen on eBay, most new ones sell for around $300 plus anyway.

    if its not urgent id wait, seems like they recently get discounted every 4 months. is there a way for ozbargain to send email alerts when certain products get posted?

      I wish there was. Just wondering, could you post me the webpages, or posts where they show the boots being discounted every 4 months?

      The only sales I've seen for RM williams have been for David Jones and Ray's outdoor's clearance sale.

    You try the outlet? They are generally at DFOs. Prices used to be around $200 but were $275 last time I was there. Range is variable.
