Google Play Carrier Billing Error

Hi I activated a $30 Telstra Sim on the freedom plan like it recommends in the wiki and set up my carrier billing option but every time I try to purchase an app,book or do an in app purchase I get the error USER WAS NOT FOUND, I have had a look on google as well as searching here but am unable to find a fix just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a fix for it.   • When did you activate it? Sometimes it doesn't work for 12 hours or so.

  • About 8pm last night been trying again today still nothing, been on Telstra's crowd support website plenty of people with the same issue but no known fix that I can find I will give it a few days and see if it just magically starts working, we had the same problem in January and ended up just giving mum the sim as she wanted to try Telstra out for reception anyway

  • Update after trying everything on the crowd support website, clearing google play cache and removing and re-adding all my accounts it has started working. Not sure whether it was one of the fixes or if it just needed a bit longer to get the number in the system :-)
