Your going to try this?
Karicare was also same price in last week Coles deals. But you had to buy 2. It was 2 for $28.
Sorry, and this is probably a silly question to some: What is the idea of the 3? Wouldn't babies be pretty much on to milk by that stage, and also eating some solids?
(I understand if it's maybe a solids issue.)
If the baby is healthy and eating there is no need for this type of formula. Most babies will be on cows milk from 1 onwards, barring allergies, etc.
Kind of what I was thinking. I don't think we've ever even used a 2 befroe. I think once you find something that works you tend to stick to it, and the 1s can go beyond 6 months. No point changing formulas for just a few months use!
It costs the same as cows milk and could be seen as more convenient. Some kids may prefer the taste of formula too.
I've never actually worked out the overall cost per tin vs milk. But I disagree on the convenience. Pouring milk into a bottle straight from a carton is soooooo much easier! :)
Yeah, I agree that it's easier to put the milk straight out of the bottle. But it's easier to prepare formula than drive to the shops when you're running low on cows milk… I have a supply of easy and quick hot water so it's very quick to whiz up some formula and my kids prefer warm milk.
It all depends on your own circumstances at the end of the day. As for the cost thing, I thought formula would be much more expensive and it worked out to be pretty much the same price as milk. I was hoping to save some money by ditching the formula…..
Don't let the Chinese scalpers hear about this…
The sad thing is that they're going to give out endless rainchecks for them when they inevitably run out of stock. You probably won't see this particular formula on shelves for months now.
You gotta feel for the mothers who actually need it for their children.
Nan 2 tastes so good. I think it tastes better than Pro 3 but I'll have to give it a try first.
