They only allow two changes. Toppings like chilli flakes are free.
The $5 ones only allow 1 change
It's all about making 2 changes to surpreme (should be about $6-$7 with coupon).
@batiudrami: Indeed, every time there's 4 supremes for pickup that resemble anything but supreme, the store knows it's me. O, and godfather if you want a bit of vege.
Maybe it differs between stores, but at my store you can't swap out any toppings on the value pizzas.
How about we do a little Ozbargain comp? Who can come up with the best combos :)
Me?
Classic Crust
Add Camembert Cheese
Add Pineapple
Add Seasoned Chicken
Add Smoked leg ham
Classic Crust
Add Camembert Cheese
Add Jalapenos
Add Pineapple
Add Pulled Beef
All a moot point since my local does the BEST pizzas for $5 each
Tell me more about your local that does the BEST pizzas for $5 each
It's got a logo that is often white, pink and has an eagle as a mascot.
The guy who is the 'manager' is actually the owner. Go in with a coupon or order online and you can pick up pizzas for $5 usually. ANY day EXCEPT Tuesday and they lay the toppings on nice and thick, it's always perfectly cooked as well.
I've been to a few independent pizza places and it's a bit of a surprise to myself, his craps on them! Once you get over the 'chain store' shock they are actually damn nice! I can only manage to eat half for dinner as opposed to a full Domino's. That's how much toppings he puts on them!
Save yourself a dollar and use the $6.95 Traditional code. It works for Traditional, Designa and Chef's Best.
No dominos for me…. Maybe I've been spoilt, but their pizzas have gone down hill in a big way. Going back about 3 years ago they were still ok for the price, now they are utter crap.
I bought 2 pizzas about 3 months ago and I threw most of it out as it tasted horrible, and it was my usual pizza selection. The toppings had changed (cheap alternatives substituted,) very poor, only for the super desperate to fill the belly.
NO DOMINOS FOR ME! :)
I felt the same way… until I had a Chef's Best. So good!
Meh, no more dominos for me, I only go for crust from time to time now, it is a premium price I agree but for the amount of times I now purchase pizzas, it is fine..
I don't know what's with all the hate. I have a couple of local Dominos stores and they always serve good quality stuff. Even if I use a coupon I've never been skimped on the quantity or quality of their pizzas.
Sure non-chain pizzas are better but for the price I'm very happy with what I get.
going back a few years ago I would agree, their topping where actually better not the crap they put on now a days in place of what use to be.
The taste itself has gone down hill, I remember when for about $7 a pizza you use to get a decent dominos pizza (mind you the sizes have shrunk a lot as well over what was 5 years ago) although not the best but for the price it was reasonable. These days, I stay away, they have lost a number of people I know of because of how they cheapened the toppings etc, and won't be going back because of it.
For a $5-$8 pizza I don't know what you're expecting. Comparing it to Crust (a $20 pizza, at $5 almost 4x the cost) isn't a fair comparison.
well not comparing it to crust just saying that if I'm going to fork out $7 - $8 for a pizza that I'm going to throw away, I might as well buy something decent..
Remember buying something just because it is cheap but throwing it away is pointless. Crust was only used as it is a decent pizza that is quite enjoyable nothing more.
Any code for "traditional pizzas" can also be used for "designa pizzas", just scroll down and select "designa" from the list of pizza choices.
$7.95 is not a bargain for a Dominos pizza. (especially since $6.95 coupons are still frequently available)
How is this a bargain? Domino's allows toppings to be freely substituted and they have $5 pick up pizzas, add a cheap pizza with a lot of toppings, take them off and then build your own.
