Beginners phone with a bit of grunt. I've decided the Y550 hits the sweet spot for me. $99 at HN or voda shop is best I can spot.. anyone know of a better deal?

The seem to be disappearing from the market. They were every where a couple of months ago. I wonder if the $40 special was to clear stock.
Phonebot bought a HUGE amount of these went they went on sale for $40~45. They paid people via Airtasker $15 dollars per phone bought
They then resold the $50 Vodafone sims that were packaged with it for $18. Not sure what they do with the phones. They will probably sell it on eBay or their website.
Vodafone should chase them for break of contract.
Really spoils it for everyone else.
Enforcing that would be the tricky bit. I think locking the bundled sim cards to 1 specific phone would attract trouble in itself
When they were $45 @ Harvey Norman they ran out of stock, the rep said they were getting more and that the price would be going down to $49 in a few months anyway. Waiting till EOFY is probably best but ebay is a good place to look for them right now too (Don't expect the Vodafone credit with it though)
It was $40 last month. I'd say hold out for EOFY sales because you might end up kicking yourself if you buy now
