Was ADSL2 even around 5 years ago??
ADSL2 started to be rolled out around Australia in 2003.
Was the device capable of it at the time? I don't think so but it would have been available with a firmware flash. There has been atleast 4 different revisions of this device, all using the same (crap) chipset.
Not bad, but MSY sell it for $69 (need to pick up though)
I bought mine in March 2006 and have no problems with it. Wireless pick-up is very good — through walls, upstairs rooms, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
Yes a very old model, and it is indeed a piece of junk.
Not a bargain because you will have to buy another one when you throw this one against the wall.

So glad to have got rid of that hunk of junk just a few days ago.
MSY sell this for $69, pick up. This is $59 + $15 = $74, more expensive than MSY.
Does petrol come into the equation? Or time spent going to MSY?

It's still a Dlink, it's a 5 year old design.. Maybe older?
I've personally had 2 of these units over the years both have failed. Call me jaded.
