NFS Rivals $16.66 for PS4/PS3/Xbox One/Xbox 360 + $2.95 Shipping or Pick up (Mile End SA) @ Beat The Bomb

140

Honestly its a crap game bought to you from the guys who made the previous insult to NFS that many of the real fans refer to as "that burnout game they stuck the need for speed label on" but if you can't get project cars or you need a cheap baby sitter this will do.

Xbox One Xbox 360 PS3

It might cost you for shipping to rest of AU but if your near mile end in SA it won't, just lock your car when you park there…

  • Also PS3/X360 same price

For Xbone users, it's worth noting that this game is in the EA Access 'Vault', so is 'free' with a $40/year EA Access subscription (along with a bunch of other EA games of similar vintage) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EA_Access

Subscription isn't the same as a physical copy, etc, and $16.66 is less than $40, so you might decide this deal is better.

    • That is probably one of the best Xbox One deals ever

  • Good game for the price. Me and my son have thrashed it. Just a bit of a learning curve with the handling.

will get onto a ASIO watch list by going on a site called beat the bomb?

  • FYI $19 @ EB brand new if you want in store pick up on PS4 version.

    • Is the preowned price actually more than for a new copy?

      • Yea lol

      • It actually isnt. The preowned copies at EB games are $34 but with a half price sticker on it so it comes down to $17. Not much of a difference so I rather buy the new one.

  • Loved the graphics and the car notes were really top notch. Just boring repetitive game play unfortunately. Easily worth $20 even just as a casual racing game. Good find.

    • Those first two sentences define 'next gen' in its entirety. Except for the part about cars.

This game is the reason I will never buy another NFS game, ever again.

Graphics are great, but it's full of bugs and glitches, and EA never bother to patch the problems (I guess from their point of view, they already have your money). Online experience is a nightmare.

If you're looking for a good casual game for similar $$, go pick up a copy of Forza Horizon (Xbox only) or Burnout Paradise.

I dunno, trailers for the new one show promise :) And they gave them an extra year to get it right, rather than (profanity) it up with a quick release

I personally loved Carbon, drifting on the mountain runs and getting it right… bliss :)

    • Buy nfs… just don't buy burnout mislabled as nfs…

  • But I liked burnout…

    • then tell EA to stop making burnout and labelling it NFS to sell more

EA is the most unreceptive company to customers ever, lol. They will simply delete my email.. And then probably ban my EA account like they do to everyone who bothers to speak against them

        • haha its like everyone has been asking them to make underground 3, they are now making it as a remake of the original need for speed which is a reboot….. work that one out.
