FWIW, we have a pedigree dog (show champion) and a cross-breed mutt, and we love them both.
Good deal if you have one of the breeds they make a breed specific product for (sadly I do not). Then again I doubt the dog or cat will notice. Besides, he can aspire to be a German Shepard

Probably because the other dog owners don't understand how much better a home made meal is for their dogs. Thirty minutes and you can have enough food to last a fortnight. Plus, it's cheaper.

The reasoning was that the line "Valid with other offers" refers to other Royal Canin offers and that the Royal Canin T&C's do not apply in any way to Petstock.

There is a huge difference between Optimum and Royal Canin. Proof is in the poos, which unfortunately I know a lot about with 4 dogs running around ;)
poultry bi products and animal protein/ fats are now canins main ingredients,,, before they changed when I was buying from them there mains were chicken meal, chicken protein/fats, way too much grain/corn filler ,canin even with 50% off these days is way overpriced and same goes with blackhawk,,, brilliant marketers though, I also have 4 furballs and do the odd foster, pooh once a day on applaws and raw, if the only choice i had was canin and optimum at there regular prices it would be optimum, I don't get fooled by marketing ( well try not too)
