Coleman 4 Person Instant Traveller Tent - $215.99 + $20.78 Shipping @ Coleman Australia

11

The Coleman 4 Person Instant Traveller Tent is now $215.99 for a limited time only!

This 4 person family tent has a unique and innovative instant up frame that makes it extremely easy to setup. So easy in face that it takes only one person.

It has a full fly entry as well as large mesh windows which have been a hit with all of our current customers. This stops the tent from becoming stuffing and hot.

much cheaper here, Down Under Camping http://www.downundercamping.com.au/coleman-instant-traveller…
    $179 plus $8 shipping.

I would have thought Coleman themselves should be the cheapest.

    • Exactly, but then the retailers will be unhappy as they are competing with the manufacturer, and there is no way for them to be more competitive than the actual producer.

You should neg the deal then.

        • -3

already been negged…. if more people neg it, the deal, (and the information about better deals), will disappear for most users.
One of the benefits of this flawed negging system…

  • Hi Rep, can you tell me why your one is worth spending over $100 more compared to this Boab Vertigo Dome Tent - 6 Person for $99.50 please?

      instant(ish) set up?

      • Looks like it was designed with a pack of cards.

Because after a while you just get really sick of threading poles through the material on dome tents. The "instant" up is pretty handy. I have this model:
      http://www.snowys.com.au/Tents-Shelters/Touring-Tents/Instan…

And you can stand up to full height (well my full height 1.7m atleast). Not sure if the one I have has the same technology as the one in this post though. Essentially all poles are alreay in the tent. This does have the drawback of the tent being pretty large when folded up. And a bit of a struggle to get back into the bag. Instant up yes, instant down…no.

Maybe the OP can reconsider his post and this pricing, clearly it is not a bargain. Ozbargain is meant for real deals, not marketing tripe.

I think they have reconsidered their account…

      • Disabled, wonder why.

There is a large benefit to this Ozbargainer type from the post.

My fellow Ozbargainers have pointed me in the direction of what appears to be a much better tent at less than half the price, so I won't be spending my hard-earned cash with the OP's employer.

It also teaches one the benefits of learning English properly, as I won't get stuffing easy in face, like the OP :-)

      • I like the stuffing in roast chickens but not tents.

        • +1

But stuffing is easy in face :-)

I hope that the OP doesn't work in Coleman's advertising department….

Has anyone noticed that when # of comments># of votes, there's usually some ozbargain sport to be had?

    • Most Reps don't seem to get how Ozbargain works. They think it's free advertising for average sales.

      • And it works, google search for this tent and it will be the top or close to top result.

I would wait for end of year sales on Amazon. I've seen the Sundomes 4p for $36 USD with 20% off sales. I opted for a more expensive light weight hikers 2p tent at the time. $74 for this baby http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004ILEMT2/ref=oh_aui_detai…
