  What is the yaw rate? And why is a high one good? As far as I can recall, "pitch and yaw" refers to tilt and rotate. Is it the spinning in place thing? Helps you turn faster?

    Yep that's right. Higher pitch and yaw makes the quad more agile. If you want to get into fpv and flying through trees, then this would be a good trainer.

  Has anyone given this a whirl without ever using a quadcopter before? Seriously contemplating buying it but I just hope it won't be impossible to use..
